About Noepgmenu

With vdr 1.4 the numeric keys in the channels menu are already used for other functions, so the former noepg patch from Torsten Kunkel no longer works and one cannot control which channel should use internal or external EPG. This plugin allows again to manage these settings. It does not replace the noepg patch, but comes with a modified version of it.

Installation

The installation follows the common way:

extract in the plugins source directory: tar -xzvf vdr-noepgmenu-x.x.x.tgz
symlink the directory: ln -s noepgmenu-x.x.x noepgmenu
change to VDR source directory and start compiling plugins: cd /usr/local/src/VDR && make plugins
start with VDR: vdr -Pnoepgmenu
